So, I was watching "Grave of the Fireflies" on Monday night/Tuesday morning, and all I can think of through the entire movie is "the young girl dies and gets cremated." And, slightly after this thought, the next was inevitably: "Katia has ruined this movie for me."

Whatever emotional impact this movie might have had on me was completely spoiled, thanks to your massive plot spoilers. I hope you are happy.

Hey, Katia. Tried reading "Life of Insects," by Victor Pelevin. I'm not going to review it, or even discuss it because it's a book that I find myself unable to appreciate it, and hence cannot comment on whether I thought the book was good or bad.

I might try reading it again in a few years time, when I might actually be able to appreciate the story here - I actually have several books I have filed under this category - books I can't yet appreciate but think they would be worth the effort when I can.
