If you want it to be. But you don't have to make it pagan if you don't want to.Pagan?
It comes out with the tinsel. Get your xmas bingo card out. My pen is hovering over the word Saturnalia.Ah, it's that time of year again.
Pagan?
As I recall, Jesus was nailed to a cross, not a giant chocolate egg. There's no reliable evidence that it is, from what I've read, and there are numerous examples of winter festivals and holidays from different cultures throughout history. I also wouldn't see that as significant or unique even if it were pagan in origin, since cultures have always merged, intersected, and borrowed from each other.

Pagan?
It is possible that the cross was made of chocolate appropriated from a pagan recipe. This would be a major blow to Christianity and its salvation narrative.
Personally I have no more of a problem celebrating Christmas than I do of celebrating Halloween. Both started out as religious holidays but both are very secular today.Coincidentally, today i saw a chocolate cross while buying chocolates for Saturnalia presents.
Pagan?
Did you invert it? I can't resist doing that around Easter. I see the chocolate crosses, I select one or two to purchase (because chocolate is good) then invert the rest. I tried to make it look like a chocolate Easter bunny was being crucified, once. I couldn't make him stick.Coincidentally, today i saw a chocolate cross while buying chocolates for Saturnalia presents.

same question every year
Just like every year, a disgruntled Christian will go off on Halloween and insist that Christians shouldn't celebrate it because it's evil.
As a horror fan, I like Halloween because it's evil! I thought that was the point.

I like the costumes kids wear (and some adults)
