I didn't know there was a second. The first was severely cringeworthy, a suggestion that perhaps Hollywood sucks because they don't acknowledge what actually made a game take off (coop play where could fight eachother while successfully destroying human civilization).

One sucked and apart from the speech so did 2,I agree that Hollywood sucks nowadays.

The Castlevania series on Netflix was pretty good.

That was a great show! The lore is there, the story is there, even the spells can be found in one of the games. The only real big change was to Isaac, and they made the character way better. (Camilla and her sisters was made up for the story, and they did leave out that Hector was married).

That's the original Isaac.

Yeah. Any Rampage movie should have ended with human society and civilization having to rebuild itself due to the destruction if it at the hands of a Kaiju-sized gorilla, wolf and iguana (that definitely aren't weird, dumb, bad sci-fi hack job monsters).
Properly done, they could have even destroyed alien society on the Moon before launching sequals across the universe and across time. But the monsters would have to fight each other a lot of the times throughout.

Yeah, it's deviations from the source material were actually improvements.
Camilla appeared in Circle of The Moon, though.

Equilibrium, a sci-fi movie about a dystopic future under a despotic regime that controls the population by suppressing their emotions with drugs. Low budget and cheesy, but a guilty pleasure.

Damn, I can't believe that movie is 20 years old now...

She's been in a bunch of the games, with her first appearance being Castlevania 2. It's the other three with her in the later series that are foriegn to game lore.
You hear they making the next season or show or whatever based on Dracula X (Rondo of Blood and Symphony of the Night)?

I haven't seen it, but it sounds identical to at least no less that two dozen other dystopic sci-fi flicks, lmao.

Yeah, it'll be titled "Castlevania: Nocturne" and take place during the french revolution.

The first was a failure, at least if you had any expectations of it being like the games and not a pathetic attempt at F-rate Kaiju.
I never saw it but assumed it would be ****. The games didn't really have a lot of narrative meat. Odd that anyone thought a sequel would be a good idea.

One thing that will suck is the high probability Michiru Yamana won't be making the soundtrack for it, amd they probably won't pull much from what she did for those games given they didn't really pull much from established game songs for the original show.

Why? Do some consider Khmer Rouge an ideal model?
"Ideal" isn't a term I ever hear applied to it.
However mass murders in the millions are
typical of socialist regimes. And this one is
actually much smaller than ones committed
by Mao & Stalin.

Won't have the original writer either, but he was dropped due to sexual misconduct allegations.
