I am bored....challenge me

InChrist

I am really bored and I was thinking...what if I challenge RF people to ask mostly religious/spiritual questions to me. And if i can't answer, that means I have more to understand and learn my self..
If you came to realize and know that Jesus Christ is the only source of true love, forgiveness and eternal life, who loves you more than anyone else will ever love you; would you trust and love Him in return?

Be who ever you want
A missionary sets out from Salem, Oregon at 11.22 am and drives east at a net 36.15 mph. At 1.07 pm the same day a mufti sets out from Cushing, Oklahoma on an electric scooter and rides north by northwest at a net 23.1 mph. Each refuels once before their paths cross. The missionary loses 16 minutes and the mufti 65 minutes.

At what time are they closest to each other?
I have no idea

Thanks for your honest response.
Have you asked God if there is more than one path?
That is one of many things I have asked yes.
If there is only one way you see, and that is the one you are on, than you are doing the right thing for you, other people will find their path toward God

It's good to find yourself on the wrong end of an argument because if you are honest
with yourelf then you can learn, and be grateful your errors were uncovered. That's
my POV anyhow.
My issue with secular people is that they are not really non-religious per se because
that's an impossible position to be in, unless you seek to have a vegetable mind. We
ALL must come to a point where we accept some position on where we come from,
why we are here and where we are going. Even a universe that creates itself when it
didn't exist (a non scientific POV BTW) is some sort of vague 'religion' by which some
will live their lives.

Not your average Mormon
Assuming, then, that we are all God's children, all messengers of God (if they are real, and not pulling our legs) are equal. As it is pointed out in the bible, many people will pretend to be prophets. For example, Jeb Bush said that he spoke with God and God promised that while he was governor of Florida, there would be no hurricanes. Of course, there was a hurricane, which he dismissed as punishment of God for all of the trailer trash. Obviously Jeb Bush is a false prophet.

It seems ridiculous that the God of all would single out just one small region of the world to send his message. This is why it is compelling that the Mormon faith might be right. They, too, are Christian, but believe that Christ visited the Americas, and gave them special instructions.

It should be obvious that those who defy God are not prophets of God. Those who kill, make torture camps, bear false witness against other nations or other people, do not represent God, and very likely they do represent Satan.
Interesting thread, Clara. Just one thought for anyone who categorically dismisses anyone who claims to be a prophet in this period of time. We are warned in Matthew, Mark and Luke of following false prophets. Nowhere are we warned of prophets, per se. Perhaps that is because God has always spoken to His people through prophets. He never said He was going to stop doing so.

Your views are crystal clear (Islamic, Sufi). So, there is nothing to ask, nothing to tell. My views different from all God/messenger-believing people.
