I shall be more generous than other posters. How about a nice chateaubriand on asparagus with bearnaise sauce, and a potato-speck gratin? (speck is a kind of lightly cured, smoked ham). I think a big red wine would do well with that, something like a good malbec.

It was sent to the lab for analysis, but the results were inconclusive.
Ribeye steak, mashed potatoes, asparagus, sweet dinner rolls and iced sweet tea.
Curry with naan, poppadoms, and bhajis; as well as yoghurt and a cup of ice tea.
Palak paneer, jasmine rice, garlic naan, and mango lassi.
Probably the best meal of my life was at an Indian buffet, right when they opened the doors.. I had 3 or 4 plates of it.. I gotta get back there. I like it, but it's often expensive

If you don't mind I'll not join you, ill be having chicken with tarragon sauce, sauteed potatoes and corn.
In addition to those options, I can offer frozen breaded chicken strips...you do have to get the oven going, though...I'm not a restaurant.
You can have some leftover macaroni or a pizza, and a can of coke, or a glass of milk, orange juice or water.
If you're still hungry after that you can have some instant noodles or grilled cheese sandwiches.
That looks like another one of those delicious school lunches I remember.
I recall that our school cafeteria always emanated some kind of distinctive odor, which I still occasionally encounter, triggering memories of awful food.
But it was still better than prison food in Texas.
