Does God Love the Atheist?

Yes!!

However, there is a difference between not believing in and rejecting God. Though God may love the person who outright rejects Him, there is a place where He says, "OK, I will yield and accept your decision. You can live the totality of your life without me".
And you know that God does this how?

Where is where God is not? Are the people immortal so they get to live forever but without God?
There are many positions... but wherever it is, I am glad I am with God and I leave all judgment and the feet of Him that judgeth.

Some think that there is a place of Hell. Some think their spirit/soul are eradicated. :) Some think we are already in Hell.

Regardless, now is a good time to consider which whom you want to live with or without.

Even though the atheist has either chosen not to believe or outright reject God.

Probably God loves atheists more than many theist who are dishonest about natural nature of our physical existence. Atheists sincerely and honestly follow the evidence.

They live without him. On this earth the don't experience the life that God wanted for them and the hereafter, it is wherever He is not.

Nobody lives without God. Some create God in their own image, some simply believe without conditions, some don't believe in Gods, some question God's existence, some consider the glass contains the most, but nonetheless God universally loves all humanity and all of Creation of possibly billions of life giving worlds.

Matt 10:40 “Anyone who receives you receives me, and anyone who receives me receives the Father who sent me.

Luke 10:16 “The one who listens to you listens to Me, and the one who rejects you rejects Me; and he who rejects Me rejects the One who sent Me.”

John 13:8 “No,” Peter protested, “you will never ever wash my feet!” Jesus replied, “Unless I wash you, you won’t belong to me.”

there are dozens of scriptures that ultimately says "I you don't want me..."

I could ask you the same question -- what do you think the Flying Spaghetti Monster or the Invisible Pink Unicorn think, and how do you know? Or the Tooth Fairy, or Santa Claus, or Krishna, or Jupiter -- or, in fact, any of the gods in H.L. Mencken's "Where is the Graveyard of Dead Gods?"
Well, first of all, I was directing my question to KenS, whose post I quoted.

Second, the point I was going toward was pretty much what you bring up, although more specifically what I was asking about was how he knew that "there is a place where He says, "OK, I will yield and accept your decision. You can live the totality of your life without me"."

My post was questioning how he, or anyone, knows the details of God's relationship/process of relations with humans.

As I said, God loves all humanity and God loves atheists.

Yes, some create a god in what they want him to be etc.

Ultimately, only God knows... I am just saying that there are principles but ultimately God decides.

Thank you.

As an atheist, why would I believe your scriptures?

As a liberal Christian, why would I believe your interpretation of the scripture?

As any other kind of theist, why would I believe in your scripture and your interpretation/understanding of what God does?

If I did believe in some kind of universal omnimax deity who created and cares for each and every one of us really and truly, hesheitthem understands why people don't believe in him, and still forgives them, because hesheitthem is loving and forgiving.

But that's just my belief...or would be, if I believed in such a deity...

I don't think god would fault people for thinking critically and disbelieving on rational grounds. If anything I imagine he would favor them over those who would project upon him and presume to represent him and to speak upon his behalf.
I find the notion than an omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent being would need worship and attention and would be petty and vindictive for not receiving it to be rather silly.

I think God knows what he has put into one's heart and soul regarding his existence. He knows if someone rejects him, why they are doing it. He knows how people think. He can make a perfect judgment, with all factors considered, into how we should have lived and could have lived, should have believed and could have believed. He also knows who is rejecting based on pride, unwillingness to be humble. He knows how we were raised. He knows who and what has influenced us. In the end, only God is qualified to make a righteous judgment. He cannot be fooled. He knows all of us better than we know ourselves.

I don't know about the reasoning behind rejection. Perhaps it is rejection of specific gods or concepts thereof. I know a number of people have issues with the morals displayed by the God of the Bible.

For me, God simply does not exist except that I allow my subconscious mind to create a God for me. I know my mind can do this. I don't know how to get around the knowledge that my subconscious mind is able to support my beliefs, my desire for a God, whatever they happen to be.
Aren't G-d's unblemished attributes manifest in the Universe, no other conscious being has/ can claim that with reasonable arguments? I therefore understand that it is most inappropriate to deny G-d.
Right, please?
