No, but why the need/want to say it is ridiculous, silly and what not? Why not use evidence?

You are free to hold your opinion about any religion, what i want an end to is ridicule of religious people or religion. Those comments that are ment to hurt others are not needed to say.

No, i am not after stopping you from holding your views, what i do want is the negativity to stop, the ridicule of religion or religious people, just because you see it as silly or stupid to be religious, that is what i want to stop

You have a point there. Negative conditioning and hurting other people don't work. Social science studies have shown that.

We'll since it IS ridiculous to ME then in my opinion it DOES have the properties of being ridiculous. Just because I voice the opinion that I think someone holds a ridiculous religious belief it does not in any way prevent them from freely practicing their religion.

Then I am glad we agree that people both non-religious and religious can freely express their views about religion and that it is not ridicule when doing so, even when they have a view that you don't like to hear.

And I assume that a flat-Earther wants an end to being ridiculed for their beliefs, but if they come to a public forum to express their belief that the Earth is flat then they should be prepared to receive ridicule from those who disagree. If they can't handle having their beliefs questioned then they probably shouldn't express them on a public forum.

I think that if you express yourself that way, you most likely do so in order to be insulting. There is no need to express your views in such a gratuitously rude way. So, while it may be legal, that does not stop it being obnoxious.

How do you see that? What are your observational data? What are the scientific measurement of ridiculous? What does it look like? And so on?
Oh, wait, it is an opinion. So you are allowed to state something that is not true. But that is ridiculous, since it is not true according to your belief system, right?
So it is ridiculous, that there are ridiculous claims, since there is no evidence for the fact, that there are ridiculous claims.

I have also been known to say atheism is ridiculous. That is just the way I express myself.
