I saw an interesting point yesterday:

For years and years, the gun "enthusiasts" have been saying that the reason they need to be allowed unlimited firearms, semi-auto rifles, large-capacity magazines, etc., is so that they're prepared for the day that a tyrannical government uses the military to infringe on the rights of the American people and the individual states.

Now that this day is here... crickets.

Was I wrong? They didn't want the protesters to win in China, just as you didn't want the protesters to win here in America. (You said so in post #162 in this thread:NYPD officer plows into crowd of protesters)

I just thought it was interesting that you advocated taking the same hard-lined stance as they did in China.

I don't know any gun rights types who agree with you.
We're confident that the system will recover from the
