And as Iran retaliates, we increase the scope of strikes.
If it escalates to full fledged war, the same people will be
in favor of every step which led to it....because each act
was justified. And so the war is good....until it drags on
& on, & regret slips in.
The trick is to imagine where this process leads, before
beginning the process.

All you have to do is fix it so that terrorists can't fly planes into buildings, attack ambassadors from other nations, behead citizens of other nations...you know. like that.
