You can use Mrs. Dash. My dad says it works.Recommendations?
Also there are salts which taste a lot stronger than sodium chloride, so you can use a lot less for the same affect.
Another alternative is potassium chloride (over the more common sodium chloride) which survives cooking.
Salt Alternative: Potassium Chloride

MSG is the secret ingredient
Good to know. One should be aware that potassium chloride is not without health risks as well.
"Salt substitutes usually contain potassium chloride, which does not raise blood pressure as sodium chloride (table salt) does. It should, however, be used with caution in those with kidney disease, heart failure or on blood pressure or heart medications that increase potassium levels."
Are nonsodium salts healthier than traditional?
Is that allowed? Can they put msg in it without reporting it on the label?I'm pretty sure Mrs dash contains MSG
