whats your beef with brexit?

Jeff points out that many of us will have seen the BBC documentary 'Brexit: Behind Closed Doors' and the revealing insight it gives into the attitude of Eurocrats towards the UK and its representatives. And it's not pleasant watching to the point that I'm sure it has switched a fair proportion of Remainers, into Brexiteers. Many will also have seen BBC Question Time last night and the Nigel Farage broadside delivered into the side of the failing EU and domestic Remain establishments, to the delight of the watching audience. So it may come as a surprise to learn that Theresa May is still intent on trying to push her non-Brexit, Withdrawal Agreement surrender treaty through to ratification with the EU.

For the overlords of the UK to call one of their provincial leaders pathetic was beyond the pale.

Farage 0 Marr 5
A total car crash interview for Farage when asked to justify his stances on various issues.
Then has the audacity to claim the BBC is trying to silence him when he was on their two most prominent political shows; whereas Change UK's candidate's appearance on HIGNFY was cancelled because it may show favouritism.
Unbelievable !!

I see Farage is running scared of debating with Change UK

The party with no policies doesn't want to debate - Scrap the NHS; relax gun laws; are the hidden agenda

“I was a child, during the war, and I wanted to just go through the origins. I was bombed, I was evacuated, I had a horrible time and I hated the Germans. My first husband was air crew during the war. He was older than me and he bombed and killed many Germans and it haunted him for the rest of his life.

“My mother and father lived through two world wars that were started in Europe. The second one cost 51 million lives. When I was told and my gen were told that we were going to be united with our enemies and try and build a better future, I rejoiced.”

Obviously, a vision like that was going to go horribly wrong. It was going to have to be worked at very hard.

Now, look at the situation we are in now; the problems are global. It’s not just migration, it’s a shift of populations – as we had at the end of the war. There were displaced people all over the world whose homelands have been bombed to hell and were coming out of camps and looking for somewhere to live and we solved it.

“There’s ecological problems, environmental problems: there’s huge discrepancy between the rich and the poor, worldwide and that should worry us, because that leads to extremity.

“Surely we can solve those problems together if we’re united than if we close ourselves down, shut our eyes and hate the world.

“I am so proud to be British. And I am also proud to be European and if I wake up at the weekend and discover I am no longer European, I will be heartbroken.”

Who in their right mind wants wars?

Should we be a vassal state of Japans to avoid the possibility of a war?

Should we be a vassal state of a German led entity to avoid the possibility of a war?

Sheila Hancock should be able to understand that she can be European without being controlled by the EU.

The Alt-right want conflict and discord
"Nasty foreigners", "Vassal State", etc. rhetoric - it breeds fear and resentment and wins votes

Who are these “Alt-right” that want conflict and discord?

Language is a precious thing that should be cherished and revered not thrown on the scrapheap of political correctness.

Farage, his financier Aaron Banks, Bannon, Yaxley-Lennon, etc., etc., are the alt-right.

Language is indeed a precious thing and politicians should engage brain before opening their mouth ... unless they are doing it on purpose of course.

Nigel is going out of his way to prove that he is not “alt-right” ever since he was branded a racist.

Anyone who has followed Tommy knows that he is not “alt-right”. When we leave the clutches of the EU and normality returns to the UK, we should have a statue of Tommy Robinson to commemorate the good work he has done for his country.

If we don’t use it, we will lose it.

He is being funded by Aaron Banks; money that he has not declared to the EU.- watch him run away from interviewers.

Does that make him “alt-right”?

Did you read the comments under your video?

BTW, the Channel 4 guy doing the stitch up is the very same one that was caught on camera laughing along with the rest of the EU and their supporters at our Prime Minister.

To some extent, you are preaching to the converted. I went off Nigel when he started attacking Tommy and his former political party. I won’t be voting for Nigel but I will be voting for Tommy.

If Nigel can get us out of the EU, it will be another feather in his cap and of great benefit to the people of the UK.

Some would probably call this woman “alt-right” because she wishes to express herself.

Equality or the lack of it is her prime concern. If only the Left could say that.

I really hope remainers will definitively abandon the idea of the second referendum...when brexiteers win next week
The Brexit Party will win next week; Tory and Labour will do badly ...
BUT both Tory and Labour are LEAVE parties.
The REMAIN vote will be split between Lib Dem, Green, Pliad Cymru, SNP and Change UK - so all of those need to be added together to get the true REMAIN vote.
