Are there any Muslims here that support apostasy should be punished?

He probably doesn’t want to disclose his name and address, but who could blame him for that.

He has many more educational videos on YouTube for those that like to learn.

I am not much impressed with anonymous, but then he can say anything he wants to say.. Much like the Shoebat father and son.

Or considered treason.

Apostasy is Equal to Treason. Tawhid, nubuwwa, and qiyāma form the constitution of Islam.

Yes, you successfully repeated what I stated.
Apostacy (ie being a muslim and then no longer believing it and making that known publicly) is considered the same as treason.

So much for no compulsion in religion.

It's all about moving the goalposts and dodging the bullets,if the Quran and your prophet are perfect the don't need to do either imo.
Idd.

A "perfect" text and "perfect" religion, should be able to withstand a bit of scrutiny and questioning.
And regardless, the very thought that scrutiny and questioning of ideas (any ideas) is a bad thing.... that's just insane.

That the comparison can even be made (and that there is doubt on whether there is any distinction at all) says quite a lot about the validity and truth of Islaam, or the lack thereof.

What do you think of undermining the US constitution?

As you **might** have noticed from my posts I am no defender or apologetic for any faith BUT that video by an anonymous individual is suspect at best - if you have the courage to be different stand up and be counted

Constitutions are over-rated, IMO. Particularly their written forms.

But, of course, they tend to try to expose a set of values that a society hopes to align itself with.

How is that relevant here?

I have watched a few of his videos and the fact that he tries to discredit the accuracy of the Qu'ran by pointing out that an individual is misplaced in time and the fact that one of the Hadith's indicates Muhammad's plan / desire for India to become an Islamic state - clearly the man has an axe to grind with the religion - it is apparent to most anyone that wants to see that

I am no fan of Islam - and even I could spot it right away

If he has an axe to grind, I doubt very much that he would use that sharpened axe to gain his reward in heaven, 72 virgins or not.

Shari law is their constitution.. To undermine the faith and the law is treason.

To commit murder of rape or grand larceny hurts the umma.. the community.. and to hurt the community is treason.

We use different words to separate a convicted felon from the society that he has betrayed by committing a crime, but the underlying premise is the same.
