Honestly, it was amongst my least favorite sci-fi. And I was a serious sci-fi nerd.(Somethings tells me that a book-to-movie that involves prophecy derived from mathematics is going to be especially bad remaining true to the books to cater to a largely arithmophobic audience).
Centuries out, perhaps. But Wall Street does show us we are getting better at predicting trends and future behaviors (especially when it comes to manipulating them), which are essentially mathematically based. But the trilogy was a bit ponderous. And the premise of mathematical predictions of human behavior, centuries out, strained my credulousness. Even when I was 10 years old I knew humans were too complex for that.
I once heard an announcement that someone was writing an original story for a sci-fi/fantasy film but we’ve no idea when it will happen. That announcement was made in 2017, so we have no idea when.
Aye, it should be a mini-series...like GOT.Too vast in scope to translate into a movie.
Wait, GOT is a miniseries?!?!Aye, it should be a mini-series...like GOT.
I consider it one because it's building up towards a conclusion.Wait, GOT is a miniseries?!?!
It certainly doesn't feel like it.

Is that Asimov's trilogy of seven books?
Yes. It was originally only 3.
A title that became increasingly inaccurate over the years ;-)
I read a couple but was not a huge fan of Asimov
Some trilogies are bigger than others. Is that Asimov's trilogy of seven books?
