God isn't real. Prove me wrong.

Not a troll. A debate. As the title says.

So! Prove me wrong. I'll reply.
You do realize 'proof' is not possible or there wouldn't be a debate.

And there are more than one 'God' concept out there. I believe in a pantheist God that resides in all living things. It is this mysterious thing called 'consciousness' that creates this play/drama of reality.

Clarification is needed on these points:
  • What do you mean by "god?" For the purposes of your discussion, will you accept the full diversity of theisms and theologies, or do you mean to impose limits on what gods are to be considered?
  • What do you mean by "real?" Will you only accept something as real if it means your particular standard of what that word means, or are you willing and able to work with alternative ontologies?
  • What do you mean by "prove?" Do you plan to accept any and all types of proof or do you intend to constrain proofs to those which you find valid?

Wrong. Of course people can debate about something without the other party having any proof whatsoever. They're called 'fools'.

For example: I took LSD. LSD made me see into the fourth dimension and communicate with aliens. This is true because I experienced it. Aliens are real and third dimensional beings can travel into the fourth dimension by taking chemicals. And I refuse to believe otherwise, even if you have proof.

This will only result in a circular argument. Those with faith in a god entity need no evidence, nor can they explain the existence of god without it in my opinion. So the end result is a stalemate.
Things that don't exist can't be proven to not exist.

So you think Aliens are God.

Gladly!
First though we need more information from you.
Just tell us what you belief the word God means to you in incredible detail and we will give you the best answer possible.

What does God mean to you

A God*. If I imagined a God, going by christian terms, is a supernatural being with a cult following what's a lazy explanation for the creation of the universe. A 'higher power'. Pretty much that. A fool's tool used to 'gain hope' and whatnot.

Kinda reminds me of all the mythological creatures people used to believe in. Minotaurs, chupacabra, etc.

Also, no. I don't see aliens as any gods. But what technological capabilities they have can be seen as 'divine', since that's the laziest explanation there can be.

Lack of proof in things that do not exist is "ammunition" for those that have faith since their god in my view exists within the unknown realm so to speak. And because there is no evidence that is their argument, that not all knowledge is known and therefore god may yet exist.

But without faith what is the purpose of their religion? I am of the opinion that the faithful do not want there to be evidence of their god.

"We don't know X, therefore God is real."

What the? You don't consider and think about anything that doesn't have proof? That's fine with me, but you must not have much of an enquiring mind then. I'm not even sure why you would be on a discussion forum.

Yes exactly, "god is unknown, therefore god is real." And faith is required to believe that statement. For those of us that wish to invest our resources in the corporeal this is not a sufficient statement. What works for them most certainly does not work for us.

Can they prove the existence of god without faith? No.
