One fact to Refute evolution.

For those who believe in the theory of evolution.
Why did evolution have to be tested, to know whether it's true or not.

To test something, that means it's not true, until it's tested to show it's true.

This why Christians don't have to test the bible all because Christians already know the Bible is true

Where as evolution had to be tested, to find if it's true or not true.

That's like going to take a test, you take a test to show if your qualified or not.

Therefore to test the theory of evolution, is to see if it's qualified or not.

That means evolution wasn't qualified, from the start.until it took the test.

Where as the bible did not have to take any test to be qualified, The bible was qualified right from the start.

Therefore Christians do not have to test the bible to see if it's qualified, We already know that the Bible is qualified.

I like the honesty, but the logic scares me.

I seriously doubt it. You have never been able to show that the Bible supports you. To date I have demonstrated a much better understanding of the Bible than you have. But you handicap yourself by relying on the KJV. I am open to more modern translations that are truer to the ancient texts.

Let's say, you tested the bible, By what and how would you go about to test the bible.

The books my friend are old, ancient university books... One on gathering data, testing it on computer, and then execute science, one on college level, and a couple from university (introductions and research on the basic course of chemistry in college and university). I am no expert, but i try to keep up with the research. it's from Boston college. I don't try to gloom with my brightness, I am not very intelligent. I just wanna know why I should do research in Ebola virus or anthrax that is a biological respectively chemical weapon...

I could invent knowledge such as anthrax is found natural under the surface of the soil...
I could hatch an idea that most would found imbicill.
I could say "let there be anthrax, five tons, over New York..."

I won't...

ROFL... now THAT's funny! It's also extremely sad, because there are actually people out there who would listen to such a moronic argument and conclude that it's valid.

Nope not at all

Let's say you, yourself believe in evolution, so why by your logic does evolution have to be tested

So what I'm asking is to those who believe in evolution that say evolution was tested

So I'm asking them, why does evolution have to be tested.
So it's not me, but those who believe in evolution that say, evolution was tested.

People hold a belief in evolution BECAUSE it has been tested. If no one had ever actually attempted to provide evidence that evolution actually works, there would be no reason to believe in it. The bible is the same. IF you believe in the bible but have never actually tested the claims made in the bible, THEN you have no VALID reason to believe that the bible is true.

Than why do you object to the Bible being tested?

I don't object the bible from being tested, I object the person who may do the testing of the bible.
You can not take a person who has no knowledge or understanding of science of Evolution to test it.

So likewise you can not take a person who has no knowledge or understanding of the Bible to test it.

You have to have a person who is very much knowledgeable of the bible to test all the aspects of the bible.

Likewise you have to have a person who is very well knowledgeable in science to test all the aspects of science of Evolution.

Look alot of Christian Pastor's or Christian scholars have no clue what the book of Revelation is about or how to go about putting the book of Revelation together, to make any sense of it.

Therefore you need a Christian who is very well knowledgeable of all the Bible to test all the aspects of the bible, and not just here and there.

You wouldn't take a person who has no knowledge of science of Evolution to test it.

Look there's two aspects of the bible.

One is the letter of the bible, which is written in black and white or red and white.
Which you can read.

Then there's the Spirit of the word in the bible, which only those who have the ears to hear will hear and eyes to see what the Spirit of the word in the Bible is saying.

Look, Jesus talk about the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit many times in the Bible.

In the book of Mark 13, Jesus fortold what the blasphemy of Holy Spirit is.
And when it will happen.
And who can commit it.

Remember there are two aspects when you read Mark 13

The one is whats written down
The other is the Spirit of the word.

Can you determine what the Spirit of the word is saying ?
Therefore if a person are going to test the bible, let them test all the aspects of the bible, This includes both, The written word and the Spirit of the word.
Therefore Let the person test all of it and not just half of it. Leaving the other undone. But test all of it.

Let's say, you tested the bible, By what and how would you go about to test the bible.

I already told you some. Let's go over the Noah's Ark tale. Or any other worldwide flood. If such an event as the Noah's Ark story occurred there would be endless signs of it. In some cases absence of evidence is evidence of absence. If a friend claims that a herd of a thousand buffalo just stampeded through his kitchen and you go over and there is no sign of the stampede you can safely conclude that he was pulling your leg at best. Such an event would leave evidence. Since we can see evidence of much smaller local floods and older floods and yet we can see no evidence at all for the story as told in the Bible we can safely conclude that the flood never happened.

We can test various prophecies of the Bible. If they did not come true then the Bible fails. One of the worst failed prophecies is the Tyre prophecy. Nebuchadnezzar was supposed to totally wipe out Tyre. It never happened. That is a failure of the Bible.

Do you need more?

In reality since you are the one claiming to know that the Bible is true you should have been able to come up with some valid tests. That you could not tells us that you only have belief.

It doesn't say that...

It's a heresy by NIV and Latin bibles, from the inquisition, to inquire money... eternal with money for an eternity!!

Correction, one does not have to have knowledge of all aspects of the Bible to test it. One merely needs to understand parts of the Bible.

Likewise you have to have a person who is very well knowledgeable in science to test all the aspects of science of Evolution.

And again, the person only needs to have understanding of the specific science that he is using to test the theory of evolution. A paleontologist can test the theory in a totally different manner than an expert on genetics would.

Look alot<sic> of Christian Pastor's or Christian scholars have no clue what the book of Revelation is about or how to go about putting the book of Revelation together, to make any sense of it.

That is because the person that wrote it was likely insane.

Therefore you need a Christian who is very well knowledgeable of all the Bible to test all the aspects of the bible, and not just here and there.

Nope, if you want to claim this you need more than just your say so. And you definitely do not need a Christian. Why would you make such a gross error?

Sorry, if you want to claim there is a "Spirit" the burden of proof is upon you. Until that is proven it is just another bogus claim.

Look, Jesus talk about the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit many times in the Bible.

Sorry, just reread Mark 13 and it appears that you are merely reinterpreting the Bible to suit your needs. Nothing there that supports this claim of yours.

It would help if you use the "Reply" button. That way one can tell who you are responding to. Were you responding to Faithofchristian there?

I think so...

This is what the Christian bible teach... In context Jews said it is only by belsebub, the ruler of demons You (adressed to Jesus) cast out demons.

Jesus answered, "a kingdom that is divided cannot stand..."

If satan cast out satan how can his kingdom stand!?

In latin bibles Jesus adds, "therefore speaking against the holy ghost shall not be pardoned not in this age or the coming..."

In Christian bibles, The gospels read, "that will be your judgement"

And "if i cast out demons with the holy ghost then the kingdom of God has come to you"

And moreover "By whom does your diciples cast them out"

For the last quote I can take examples of Jewish students that tries to cast out demons with the help of nitrating blood, oxide blood, and call upon the destroyer to cast it out... satan will cast out satan in these cases...

I repeat, it's there to inquire money from debts and to have a legit reason to torture martyrs in hell for an eternity...

This is litterally the lamest creationist argument I've ever seen. This makes Ray Comforts banana look like special relativity by comparison.

Let's say, you tested the bible, By what and how would you go about to test the bible.

Well, among other things, test to see if its descriptions of bronze age civilizations corresponds to what is seen in the archaeological record. We can also test to see if it is correct about things like the age of the Earth. Is there any independent evidence of a global flood? How about people living for thousands of years? Or, perhaps of the Exodus? Is the description of ancient Egypt consistent with other evidence?

And then we can test its moral assertions. It supports slavery. Do we think that is a good thing? How about 'sister wives'? Do we think it reasonable for a wife to have sex with her dead husband's brother to provide children for the husband?

The list goes on. And, when we *do* test these things, the Bible comes up short. So we can safely discard it as a reliable source for history and morality.

Wait a second .. . . More than one wife? Perhaps I should take another look at Christianity.

Actually, to know the Bible to be unreliable, we only need to test the first (which is fortunately accessible to all). If that doesn't come out to be correct, we don't need to go to the second.
