Flat Earth

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
The Flat Earth Conference has sold out of tickets from $108 to $249 a pot.

Most of the live stream tickets are gone, only a few left (as i post) at $27 each.

Perhaps the the flat earth society must have members all around the globe.

These folks are absolute loons who have no basis grounded in reality. The landscape photo they have on their homepage has a noticeable horizon that curves. That, alone, disproves their entire theory.
Don't know what photo you're talking about, but take a look at a disk from an oblique angle?

Note how its edge curves.

Except it hasn't. A simple ride in an airplane will demonstrate this. The scary part about this entire belief is that reason and scientific logic (the very same concepts they claim to endorse) dislodge their entire thesis and they refuse to accept it.
Not having immediate access to an airplane, just what would I see that demonstrates that "every experiment ever conducted to prove even the simple spin of the earth has failed!" is false?

Before I even begin to entertain the notion of answering these questions with any seriousness I need to ask you...

Do you believe the Earth is flat?

I wanna bet half the people who bought tickets are just there for laughs, don't believe in any of it.

Id love to be a fly n the wall but i wouldn't in pay $100+ to watch total head cases be total head cases

No I don't, but I'm still interested in our reasoning.

Hmmm, you are pointing out a business model for new entrepreneurs to pick up on.

Not new, odd ball events have always attracted thousands of gullible... er... willing money givers. And the flat earthers have been around since OT time at least.

I do not understand what is the driving force behind this movement. I think its claims obvious false.

And I suppose you believe the world is round?
I had an acquaintance who became mad at me because I did not accept his flat earth claim.

I made a file that speaks against this subject. Would you like to see the argument against a flat earth? I'll be happy to share.

There are many groups with an agenda the majority feel or know is strange. As they say where in Yorkshire (or some say Wales) " there's nowt so queer as folk"
