@omega2xx You say Jesus chooses his sheep. You seem so sure that I am not chosen to be led by him to believe something different than you and the majority do.
HOW do you know that?
One could say "God chose them all because He desires that none should perish but they were unwillingFor those who accept man's responsibility we can go to Mt 23:37, ....but you were unwilling. 2 Pet 3:9--If it is God's will that no perish, why not chose them all?
No argument here...if it weren't the mercy of God that was available, it doesn't matter what man willed.Rom 9:16 - So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God who has mercy. Jn 1:13 says basically the same thing.
If you're presenting false perspective, etc., then the correct teachings just get mixed in with the garbage.???????
I have said that "bad association spoil useful habits" is about "correct teachings getting mixed up with garbage", but most people still insist that bad associations mean people. If you're presenting false perspective, etc., then the correct teachings just get mixed in with the garbage.

the question isn't new... Arminianism vs Calvanism.
Who knows... maybe both are wrong in some form
LOL - I always say, "When we get to Heaven, Jesus is going to sit us all down for Christianity 101 and say 'THIS is what I was saying'"I like to think both are right and it is only our spiritual ignorance that makes them look like contraiction.
The gates of Hell are wide.LOL - I always say, "When we get to Heaven, Jesus is going to sit us all down for Christianity 101 and say 'THIS is what I was saying'"
The gates of mercy are from as far as the east is from the west, from one nail-punctured hand to the other. The gates of Hell are wide.
I'm sorry but these are the words of Jesus. You can contradict them all you like. The gates of mercy are from as far as the east is from the west, from one nail-punctured hand to the other.
I'm sorry, but the words I used are from the Bible and doesn't contradict what Jesus said.I'm sorry but these are the words of Jesus. You can contradict them all you like.
I'm sorry... where did I say that? There is no "second chance", at judgement. Only contextually.
Many people hold that opinion.I'm sorry... where did I say that?

This is fun!
It is written Jesus says, "get away from me".
Why does he say that?
Depart is a verb and away is a place. What will he tell them?
Matthew 7:22"Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'
Matthew 7:22-23
I think that you must be aware that what was heard of God and then written is not the same thing as what the Bible is. I certainly believe it was possible that God's words were written, but it is not possible that what we have are all those.
