We only had 2 choices Trump or Hillary. Hillary is a criminal and did something illegal. Trump may be disrespectful but at least he is not a criminal like Hillary. At least he does respect the constitution.

That's a horrible plan, just to ignore things like corruption, hatred, the destruction of public education, the loss of healthcare, etc. Ignoring it, caring less, is exactly the wrong thing to do.

Our democracy is fine. Vote in your local elections next year, and get all your friends to do the same. I know you can put all your passion into an argument. . . Put it into this.

On the federal level, 2018 is going to be a heck of a year.

And who knows. . . We may get much needed infrastructure spending and an investment in good working class jobs. And if we don't, then that's part of our argument for next time.

Every one of us voted and are politically active. We still ended up screwed from president all the way down to mayor due to the intellectual failures of our country.

I am hoping for Trump to fix what Obama has done.

I hope he does stuff to help small businesses. Our retail store has to pay for the lease, all maintenance, snow removal, insurances, and all real estate taxes which are now about $6500 or so. It's hard to come up with all that money and come home with something that resembles a paycheck.

I work more hours than I actually get paid for because I want to see the place succeed for my own future, while Wal-Mart is able to kick other businesses out with "imminent domain", make other small businesses pay for the road improvements, and get tax-abatements on top of it all.
