I'm serious.

Growing surrounded by Muslims probably makes one that much more likely to perceive Islaam as the logical belief, but the fact remains that much of what you say is just not very compelling at all.

Take your appeal for us to consider miracles, for instance. It seems to me that the logical attitude to have towards miracles is not to lend them too much importance, even if they were known to happen.

Also, I honestly don't understand some of what you say. For instance:

We have 2 runners each one of them decides not to run until the other runs
When they are supposed to run???

What is that supposed to mean or to hint at?

I truly feel that you are just not very used to dealing with open exposition of divergence from Islaam.

U know I don't understand some of your posts either
I wish I could say it is because of the language barrier.

But I do write in odd ways. And as I said previously, I get the feeling that you are somewhat inexperienced in dealing with non-believers.

That is fairly common among Muslims, by my experience.

Sometimes you strike me as making assumptions that I am not even aware of. And a few that I have come to recognize but still find rather odd.

One of those common yet surprising assumptions is that we "deny" the existence of God instead of simply not seeing a point to that belief. Another, apparently Qur'an-based, is that we are actually born believers.

Several times I asked u to use simple words but... [emoji16] [emoji16] [emoji16] [emoji16]
... but I am just not very good at that. I have an odd sort of craving.

In any case, I think we also need to build a framework of common understanding, and that will take a while and some sincere effort.

So can u answer that odd question?
The one about the runners?

I would rather not until I can have some idea of what it is supposed to illustrate. I try to avoid giving false impressions.

This shows clearly that u aren't sincere

Please answer that

No, it shows that I know better than to be manipulated into meaningless answers and misguided comparisons.

Unless I have been mistaken all this time about what "sincerity" means. I used to believe it was something worthwhile.

I see

A person that thinks all my logical arguments are wasting of time can't answer this very simple question lest proves something else that maybe prove the existence of God

That might be what someone concludes.

That is no trouble of mine. I am not one of those people who would mind.

Hi
And when they board a ship, they supplicate Allah, sincere to Him in religion. But when He delivers them to the land, at once they associate others with Him (65)

Have u ever had this experience in your life? Both positive and negative answers are appreciated.

Note: ship here means dire situation

Thanks in advance

Nope.

But just for the record, why is this not literal? Can you show the context it was taken from.

When I started this topic I didn't want to involve logic here
But please answer this question

We have 2 runners each one of them decides not to run until the other runs
When they are supposed to run???

Meh, I'll bite, just to see where this leads. If they hold to their mental position, neither of them would move. In reality, one would twitch eventually, even if it's from muscle spasm, the other would interpret it as Go time, and they'd both end up running.

What do u mean by reality???

Imagine these 2 runners are outside your home right now which one of them begins???
They don't put what is in their minds aside.

Normally, no one decides to run when they just feel like it as they remain poised and ready, waiting for the command to begin, to "GO!"

When one jumps the gun, and starts before the other, we call that a false start and the runners have to all line up and start again.

You do understand this is why @LuisDantas wouldn't answer, at least partly. It always turns into some precanned guessing game which lacks real discourse. I covered this already in my answer, but since it wasn't reductionist enough you've restated the question.

Okay, so, anyways, I'll still play along. Here is my answer once more, this time without any context or substance;

Neither of them would move

At which point neither are in fact runners. Maybe they used to be, and maybe they will be again. But until they change their minds they aren't runners.
Tom

Made me laugh. Perhaps we can call them statues instead.
But you do realise you're bringing nuance and context into a discussion based around 'Guess what's in my head' right? @interminable wasn't a fan of me framing an answer with any sort of context. Why are you so special as to get a leave pass?

:p
