I have another question for YOU to ignore

The reason for seeking is to draw close to God. To draw close to God means to love like Jesus loved.
Jesus doesn't need people to know everything. Jesus wants everyone to know no lie.

If you will do internet study and find something that makes no sense do not reject it. Study it! Choose the word with the most meaning in a statement and look it up. Look at other places the word was used. If in your sample it has a different meaning than all the rest, it is wrong. Insert the right meaning of the word and the Holy Spirit will indeed confirm it (or deny it, then try again), but if you are not for selfish reason. If you are, then forget it. It is pure vanity.

Jesus wants everyone to know no lie.

I am the only one I know who is keeping up with him. Matthew 24:12-13

Again, then why has He not appointed YOU to rewrite the Bible?

Doesn't that put complete responsibility for all other human lives on you?

If you will do internet study

That's probably your biggest issue, "internet study"! All you need is a Bible, a concordance and "FAITH" to find out what you need to know!

You need to know you believe lies about what God said. The only way you can do that is to disagree with how many millions of people? A billion? More?
That doesn't come natural fyi. So study is absolutely necessary imo. Not many people are built right to swim against the tide.

I didn't say I was the only one who is keeping up. I said I am the only one I KNOW who is keeping up. There might be thousands more. They have not tried to contact me. I am trying to contact them.

How do you know that? You say disciple is a noun. A PLURAL noun. Does a concordance tell you it isn't? No!

http://biblehub.com/text/matthew/28-19.htm

mathéteuó: to be a disciple, to make a disciple
Original Word: μαθητεύω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: mathéteuó
Phonetic Spelling: (math-ayt-yoo'-o)
Short Definition: I make disciples, make into disciples
Definition: I make a disciple of, train in discipleship; pass: I am trained, discipled, instructed.

Meaning. I am well aware there is a difference between "I am instructed and trained by my teacher" (what the Bible really teaches) and what YOU say, "I am commanded to instruct and train others for my teacher".(what some men who wanted to control Jesus' people wanted it to say)

If you insist on YOUR way what the translation really says is, "go make make disciples..."

The two makes are not my mistake. The mistake is yours.

If disciple (the verb) means to "make disciples" why did they add a second "make"?

Berean Literal Bible
Therefore having gone, disciple all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit,

I have an opinion developed from another thread. Many people seem to think that because someone suspects some of scripture is wrong, then the whole should be considered wrong by that person which, if I may, is ridiculous.

Then I thought of the Egyptians who weighed souls to determine if they were worthy. I think if the Bible could be weighed like that, it would pass. There is more good in it than there exists corrupted passages in it, I think. The good actually does outweigh the bad. But to teach the bad like it does just by being there can be dangerous imo.

Please point me to the post where I said "we are commanded to instruct and train others", I would like to see that, because that's not what I believe.

You need to know you believe lies about what God said.

So be it, I would rather believe the lies that most Christians believe, than to take you at your word when you keep contradicting yourself and then try to explain it away. It's the cult mentality that is still bread in you, and I will have no part of it!

Funny! To make a disciple is to instruct and train him. No?

How would you obey the command, "go, make disciples"?

Go for it! If you believe you're supposed to go and "learn" from all the nations, have a safe trip!
OMG. I hope you are only acting stupid. We are to go to every nation and act there as Jesus' disciples. See? Jews gathered together and still do. Come on. One more uber stupid comment and I will be sad that I will have to leave you.

I am thinking I should try this again. I will make it so simple that you should not be able to read into it anything but what it says.

Jesus: "I am going, therefore YOU be my disciples to all the nations...." TO all nations. Not FOR all nations.

It means that you should not gather like the nations gather like to like. It means to all the nations you must bring Jesus with the gospel and act as though you are learning from him. Act like he is always with you, teaching you. He also gave us permission to teach, even though most of us don't know what the hell is going on.

The difference between what is written in the modern Bible and what it means is HUGE. I think many will agree that a person should be as though Jesus is real to them, they learn by him and they preach him and that they should do that to nations wherever they go.

THE DIFFERENCE is that now they go to preach. They go to convert people. Their purpose is to convert people.

If they just, "went", without the purpose of conversion, they would be free to do the work they love to do. While they are happy doing the work they love to do, whatever it is (must be legal) people will be drawn to them because they are happy people, free to do as they please, but for God's will be done.

If they go believing God's will is that they convert people, they will be doing their own will which is converting whoever they can.

Is it true that no one else can see the difference?

Jesus wants to know how much the cost will be to publish 1000 Bibles. Please and thank you.

He says don't, but, here you go. 1 Timothy 6:10

Why would I disobey the voice of my lord? Is it?

I agree with that.

I agree with that also, but not with words, but by,

a person should be as though Jesus is real to them

He also gave us permission to teach, even though most of us don't know what the hell is going on.

That's exactly why I don't believe everyone is to be teachers and preachers.

Matthew 28:20 (KJV) 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Is that not converting people?
