السلام عليكم‎

I was watching this video and I don't understand one things that I wish to be explained to me by you brothers and sisters since I just started intensively research the life of the Prophet ﷺ. At that time the Kaaba was filled with idols which Allah spoke against so why did the Prophet ﷺ and other Muslims go to hajj there, am I missing something?

Thanks :D
This is posted in Islam DIR so save your scriptures for some other time.:D

When Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and his companions entered Makkah in the 8th. year after Hijrah, he removed the idols from around the Kaabah, and restored the House as the first House built for the worship of God on earth.

The idols fell to the ground, and the Prophet, peace be upon him, would recite this verse:

And say, "Truth has come, and falsehood has departed. Indeed is falsehood, [by nature], ever bound to depart." (17:81)

After that, when he performed Hajj two years later, (and the year before when Abu Bakr led the Hajj), there were no idols in Makkah around the Ka'bah
