IF God dislikes GAYS , Why does God CREATE THEM ?

Maybe you should read what I posted
Sorry, your edit came before I finished posting my query. In any case, we have

1) God declaring himself the creator of evil

2) Moses claiming god's work is perfect and his ways are just. That god is faithful with justice (to what or whom we aren't told), and that he's righteous and upright.

3) Habakkuk who says (some say, "complains") that god's eyes are too good to look at evil, and can't condone wickedness (s.s. "evil"), and then complains "So why do you permit such evil?" (ERV)
Note that neither Moses or Habakkuk actually deny god created evil, nor should we expect them to. In fact, Habakkuk even acknowledges god's part in permitting evil to exist. Then there's the matter of whose word would you take as the most authoritative?

And then you cite CARM *sigh* (Talk about a sad, fundamentalist driven agenda. Sheeesh!)

"We can see that the Bible teaches that God is pure and does not approve of evil, that the word rah (evil) in Hebrew can mean many things, and that contextually the verse is speaking of calamity and distress. Therefore, God does not create evil in the moral sense, but in the sense of disaster or calamity."

Along with the sorry argument that "ra" necessarily means something other than evil in Isaiah 45:7. Having run into this apologetic before I found that almost half (47%) of all Bibles use the term "evil." The remaining 53% was comprised of eight other interpretations ("disaster" 16% and "calamity" 10%).

I left religion because I didn't want anything to do with a god that simply didn't like anything, except himself.

When it comes to gay all I can say is this God does not like any sin. That does not mean that God does not love them. In fact he loves them deeply. He just can't let soon be OK no matter what it is. The person can still have salvation. Only God can truly change us

Being gay isn't a sin, maybe it was back in the dark past, but not today in this civilized world.

Not to be rude but it is in the word of God. That does not mean people can't have salvation though. But I can't sit there and say it is OK in God eyes
Of course you can't. your a fundamentalist, you are conditioned to believe what you do, nothing will ever change your mind.

I not a fundamentalist. Never have been. In fact I am not even a republican even. I just know what God has shown me in my spirit. He can't let any sin into Heaven.

Yes that is a great answer, but I think your just believing that because your life isn't that great, and you need something to make it better than it is, and hence, your god.
You are right my life has not always been great. I have had a lot of stones thrown me in my life. But I would not change anything in my life cause I believe each stone thrown at me is for a bigger purpose.

Yes I have had a lot of so called stone thrown also. I have been raped as a young man, I have been shot by some mad gunman, I have also had cancer, but I don't need a god to make my life better, I only need to realize that I am not this life that I am beyond this life, my true self is all there is. The concepts of god only keep me away from my true self, I don't need a god, I am in myself all there is. This realization has helped me in so many ways, and I have to say much better than any religion has ever done.

I can respect that just as much as I am sure you can respect that I found my self in Christ.

Yet God regularly commits sin. He tells us murder is wrong but his stories are full of him committing murder, genocide, infanticide. Not the sort of thing we'd expect from a 'supremely moral' being.
