Your honest-to-goodness feelings on atheists.

I understand that is the perspective of many people, yet according to God's perspective revealed in the scriptures, which I believe to be His Word, everyone does need a Savior.

Well, that is just not something worth believing... for anyone.

And two valid perspectives are shown to exist.

You feel an identical bias towards all these categories? That's unlikely.
For clarification:
George Carlin said:
People are wonderful.
I love individuals.
I hate groups of people.
I hate a group of people with a ‘common purpose.’
Cause pretty soon they have little hats and armbands.
And fight songs.
And a list of people they’re going to visit at 3am.
So I dislike and despise groups of people but I love individuals.
Every person you look at; you can see the universe in their eyes, if you’re really looking.

And he would be wrong.

Because otherwise I would have to believe that you are serious.

Which by its turn would imply that you truly believe that atheists "need a Savior" simply for being atheists.

That is not a very wise, very respectful or very respectable belief to hold. On the contrary, it seems incredibly arrogant and uninformed - to say nothing of religiously misguided.

Last but not least, it would also mean that you are wasting whatever it is that you are calling "love" in this context in a person that you don't even bother to try to understand, and that has no use for that feeling.

Hopefully we all have better goals to pursue!

No, no, no, I don't believe atheists need a Savior simply for being atheists. I believe everyone needs a Savior simply because we all sin. Atheists are included with "everyone".

Well, I would appreciate if you reconsidered it then.

I have no power to command you, but I must leave no doubt that I don't find it proper to hold such a belief about me - or about anyone really, including yourself.

You are a bad man, and God will punish you for it!:)

How do you know? How can a created being possibly or accurately know whether the Creator is wrong?

Why would a Creator make his creation both unaware of their nature as created beings and yet somehow in need of such awareness?

Why believe that to be the case?

And if such is the case, what does it tell about said Creator?

I respect your right to disagree with my perspective, but my views are based on God's Word and I trust His wisdom over my limited human perspective. Anyway, everyday reality proves that we all participate in selfish, sinful behaviors. I am certainly not singling out you or atheists.

I will have to keep hoping, then.
