when morality becomes hypocrisy.

I tend to believe I have pretty decent morals, but do I?

Example of the sicko's that took all those teen girls and selling them for $12 each.

Not only do I want them all dead, but all those who are buying the kids to use as sex slaves, I want dead too.

Does this make me no better then them?
Is the moral thing to do is put them in prison, give them shelter and feed them?

Having fantasies or delirious thoughts about doing whatever you want does not make you less moral.

It may even ease the urge when the time to actually deal with the decisions comes.

Yes, although I would add that making them work to earn those privileges is also necessary.

I think you missed my point, I don't view this as fantasy, I truly believe these types of people do not deserve to live.
I am talking about the death penalty with a fair trial, not straight out murder.

Part of me thinks of the old time chain gangs, given your work idea thing.
But why let them work?
We have people who cant get jobs that should have those jobs.

I am most disgusted by those who sold them arms, and those who profit from the sale of arms to third world sicko's.

I don't think it makes you immoral, amoral or any less moral than anyone else to have this desire. Despite what Pope Benedict XVI proclaimed, I believe morality is relative. I think it's only natural to want retribution in kind, or exceeding the crime. The morality of putting them in prison or executing them is relative to the society, laws and culture they live in. I know you said it's not a fantasy, and I believe you. It's a desire, a want. The problem we'd have is if you took the law, even a law you disagree with, into your own hands and became a vigilante. It's not that it's immoral, it's illegal. If we all did that, the complete rule of law would break down.

Why would desiring their deaths be considered morally wrong? How could desire for justly deserved comeuppance be "no better" than victimizing innocent children? It's not hypocrisy because it's not remotely the same. Where is the logic in that notion?

I think it makes you human. Although my faith teaches me to pray for my enemies, my first thought of when I hear about people abusing and sexually abusing children is anger.

Question Everything
It's not loving or good to enable or support destructive behavior - not for the victim or the abuser. To erase hatred, I imagine the abuser was also once abused and was never taught differently, I then put it in God's hands.

Humans are always perfectly moral creatures who never make mistakes in deciding who "deserves" what?

I dislike language of "deserve." It usually reads as a self-righteous justification or rationalization to me, or a convenient way to excuse ourselves to avoid cognitive dissonance. Regardless of whether or not a person comforts themselves by calling their behavior "justified," the objective fact of the matter is we've killed someone. Regardless of whether or not our self-righteous compass says it is "deserved," someone is bound to disagree, and some would argue it is not the place of humans to be making such judgements at all.

Yeah, I know people will have disagreements but in my opinion, I think such types should be eradicated.

There's no group of people I can name that I would say "I want those people eradicated." In this particular context, I don't see the wisdom of attempting eradication anyway, because it won't solve the problem and is likely to be akin to adding gasoline to the fire. I suppose of we intend to honor certain gods, adding gasoline to the fire could be desirable.

I think that people should get the punishment that's in proportion to the harm of the crime. If you destroy someone else's life (short of killing), I think you should have your life taken from you. At the very least, I wouldn't feel bad if they did get killed. Boko Haram should be wiped out for what they've done (not only for kidnapping these girls but also for all the people they've killed), but any person who buys these girls should also get the death penalty for contributing to the gross traumatization and dehumanization of them.

Well, Satan is associated with fire, so... ;)

So what would you do with those sicko's selling kids into slavery for $12 each?
I fail to see how God has anything to do with this.

I agree that people who do something like that don't deserve to live and the world would be better off without them. However, death would be too easy and too quick.

I think they should be put into high security prisons and made to work very hard for the rest of their miserable existence. All the profit made by their work should be given to the families of their victims. That's my sense of justice.
