that's if you believe it's inevitable.

what year would you guess it would happen? whether it's by a world war or ???
you can also guess how you think it might go down, if you want.

It seems more likely that there would be a gradual regression interspersed with occassional events and upheavals which contribute to, or accelerate, the process. More of a transitional era than a dividing line.

And of course, the regression all started when the world decided that catching The Gay wasn't that bad.

No wait....scratch that...the world started ending when women got the vote.

From my point of view, if all that is meaningful will vanish at some point in time, all was meaningless to start with. Acting as if there is no meaning is inherently meaningless, hence one must always presume there is meaning, and therefore I presume meaning will not vanish - that it will be successfully preserved (likely through strenuous efforts).

No, the world started ending as soon as god made the mistake of making Eve from Adam's rib in the first place.

That's more or less how it usually goes when it comes to the collapse of societies.

It already has, it's just doing it in slow motion.

Maybe we will all be assimilated by the Borg. We are becoming more and more reliant on technology. Of course, I am just kidding.

2100. Round Number.

Japanese robotics revolt against their creators once sustainability is realised through the robotic takeover of all production and manufacturing. Obviously started with automated assembly lines involving auto manufacturers.

probably not until the universe itself starts to rip apart at the seams.
