Has anyone actually seen someone raised from the dead?

What clinical definition did they use for dead?
They didn't go into that much detail with me - Basically toe tag dead, however you would like to define that. (i'm guessing your going to try to come up with the "you weren't really dead theory", I know I tried to pass it off as that until it happened again...)

They did say I would never walk again after the first time as my legs were mangled... proved them wrong there too when I immediately got up and walked out (nope I can't explain that one either, so don't even ask)

Look mate, I'm not disputing your beliefs. I've seen the charts that have shown my flatline and I didn't experience what you did ok? But mangled legs and immediately got up and walked out?

I haven't.
But considering that I rarely hang out in graveyards, I might just have missed it.

As I said, I can't explain that one either... athough my right leg does occasionally stop working every now and then, that is why I came to this forum, to see if there were any answers, but apparently not...

I was hoping this particular thread would have someone else pop up with a similar experience...

I've flatlined a number of times too without dying. The joys of a wonky heart....
When you were in the hospital, did you play "make the monitor numbers go up and down"? Just curious as I enjoyed playing that and later found out that my dad played the same games when he was in the hospital when his heart failed. (he died once but won't talk about it)

But thats the problem, I haven't died, I'm still alive. If I died I'd be dead.

That's what I originally believed too, I'm actually not at all religious in the least.

From my experiences i now know
1. There is no creator or god
2. There is an afterlife
3. There are spirits (some who try to pretend to be gods)
4. All living things are apparently "spirit energy generators" for lack of a better term
5. resurrection (coming back from the afterlife) is possible
6. reincarnation is possible (not first hand knowledge so could be false)
7. spirit possession is possible (again not first hand knowledge)
8. energy can be transferred (that one can be dangerous and is very difficult to control)
amonst a whole bunch of other stuff - those are just some of the biggies

I'm trying to figure out if there is a religion that even closely fits this...
any direction would be appreciated

If someone claimed today that they rose from the dead, what evidence would you need to convince you they did?

Certainly at least the following:

1. Birth certificate to identify who they were.
2. A picture taken of them taken right before they died.
2. Death certificate signed by a doctor certifyining they actually did die.
3, Certificate from the funeral home signifying they were definitely buried.
4. Certified picture of gravesight showing they definitely were buried there
5. A picture, post ressurection showing that the person had broken out of the casket and climbed out of the gravesite.
6. A certified picture and video of them post ressurectionshowing they were alive.

Even then you would be concerned with forgeries and faked documents.

What evidence do we have of the ressurection of the supposed Jesus?

None of the above, only conflicting stories written by anonymous persons.

No wonder people have doubts about the ressurection.

Your experiences don't justify this at all. As far we know, God set up your entire life and all your experiences while choosing to keep himself out of the picture. Whether you want to accept that, you should at least be open-minded about it.

2. There is an afterlife

I hope so. There are good reasons to think there might be, apart from your personal experiences.

3. There are spirits (some who try to pretend to be gods)
4. All living things are apparently "spirit energy generators" for lack of a better term
5. resurrection (coming back from the afterlife) is possible

8. energy can be transferred (that one can be dangerous and is very difficult to control)

Step in line with the shamans, high priests, witch doctors, swindlers and charlatans of every stripe out there with their own stories, each different than the last.

any direction would be appreciated

How about in the direction of a psychiatrist?

All a miracle is, is something that has no explanation. It could be only a story, or if it doesn't have a currnt explanation, is doesn't mean there isn't one, or that one may not be forethcoming.
As I said....

Here, I'll help:
an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.
2. such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of God.

3. a wonder; marvel.

Already thought I was crazy after the first time. Feared being called crazy after the second time. Didn't really care if I was called crazy after the third time. Looking for some answers after the fouth time and amused at what people actually believe.

Got any tangible evidence of your experiences?

Since the supposed Jesus rose from the dead, and Christians believe they wil also be able to rise from the dead, has anyone ever seen someone raised from the dead? Thre seems to be some disconnect from the what is preached in the pulpit, and the real world.:)
People are resuscitated on the table all the time...

A nifty 8 inch scar down my chest with 4 small circles below that (we will see how long they last)
Also, a couple of stent cards and numerous hospital records

For some strange reason I was unable to get any souveniars from the afterlife, they really need to add a shop :D

How in the hell did you get a scar, stent cards, and hospital records without getting a bill?
