More than half of Americans say it should be legal for gays and lesbians to marry,

How often do you see gay guys wearing wife-beaters and flannel shirts?

Now if only we can get them to accept evolution, universal health care and anthropogenic climate change we'll all be on the same page. ;)

According to a new ABC/Washington post poll, 53% support the rights of gay and lesbian people to same-sex marriage. This is a first.
And the article says 68% of people under 30 support it (and that percentage grew over the last five years). I think looking at the trends for young people is important, because young people will eventually be the leaders. It's not like those 68% of people are going to stop supporting it, so I can only imagine how many states will allow gay marriage when 68% or more of the population supports it, and over time I expect it to rise even further.

Yep, I'm glad too. Tired of some of these old fogies who are wrapped up in the idea of the "sanctity of marriage" when 50% can't even make it through marriage without divorce.

Also it often seems to be the same people who can't keep their own marriages together who howl about homosexuals destroying the meaning of marriage.

When a man cheats on his wife, it's the gays fault. They ruined marriage for everyone.
