Tired of Christian Guilt

if you want to really see signs of the end times get your telescope and check out andromeda heading our way. she's set to collide with our galaxy in a few billion years but unless we blow ourselves up,make a supervirus, accelerate atmospheric deterioration or get hit by an asteroid i think we'll be fine for a while.none of these things could be attributed to God and God doesn't seem to intervene,i mean he sat on the bench for the holocaust and countless other atrocities.

Ah I see, so because you concluded Christianity is wrong, all other religions must automatically be wrong? Gee so much for being open-minded.

I understand the normal procedure is to pick one religion and THEN declare all the rest wrong...

I seriously doubt mankind will survive long enough to see Andromeda colliding with our galaxy.
Seems to me that we will run out of resources LONG before then.

Good point.
But I have a strong feeling that fallingblood will not relapse back into religion.
I don't see a relapse for myself. Well, unless I create my own religion. But then that wouldn't be a relapse. Just rest and relaxation while the money pours in.

My reference to end times was in reference to these feelings I get that everyone around me has the ANSWER, but me,and they are always waiting for me to get it...I can no longer look people in their eyes for fear of not being on board..
CRAZY I know.

Wornout, perhaps you should seek the help of a mental health professional.

I, too, was once a Christian and am anti-Christianity. However, I do not have the problem of being unable to be around Christians comfortably.

In fact, I live in a Christianized society, around plenty of Christians, who assume that everyone around them is a Christian.

It can be annoying at times, but for the most part it doesn't bother me. For most Christians it isn't their fault that they're Christians. And for the ones who it is their fault, they're usually sincere.

blackout

Violet.
Explain...

Well, what completely cured me (over time)
of any sneaky left over catholic/christian superstitions
was what I came to call "smashing taboos".

This basically meant confronting the recognized taboo head on,
usually in the form of defiance or.... casting off.
By doing exactly what 'I wasn't supposed to',
the ingrained fear of doing that thing,
was also cast off,
and at the same time my life opened wide to me.
I came into mySelf,
discovered who I am,
without fear.

It was like the shaking off of a repressive dream,
from which I awakened to the fullness of my Own Being.

.

Thanks for the reply. I am seeing someone currently, but I am on the less medication cycle. See they tend to call what I have Bi-Polar or a form of schizophrenia. The meds are horrible. I have had the religious hallucinations for over 30 years...stemming from my days as a failed Jesus Freak in the 70's. Pot was good but the dogma sucked, could not get it.

I was hoping to find like minded sufferers here and do some self therepy:angel2:
