Those are really beautiful.

How do women cope with all that clothing in tropical climates?

In Egypt, the summer is really hot but veiled women can wear light clothes while being loose and long at the same time. The type of the cloth differs...:)

I've worn saris in summer here, which is very hot too. It is bearable, although I find wearing something around the head/hair is very difficult (very sweaty!).

But very beautiful fashion you have presented. I just wonder, doesn't being so beautiful defeat the purpose of covering up? I mean, these women are very very attractive.

Well, you just need to get used to...and you won't feel that the hijab/head scarf is the problem, you will feel that the hot weather is the problem!! :D

These women are very attractive because they are models ;) and they must be beautiful and attractive. I will still post more styles including 'Abyas.
IMO, hijab doesn't require certain style or colors, Muslim women wear hijab in different styles around the world and as long as it fulfills the Islamic criteria...then no problem. I believe that you can be chic and modest at the same time.

Yes, wrapping up so attractively does somehow defeat the purpose of covering up, these images are probably the ads for the dress being exhibited for advertisements only, the real covering is supposed to be simple, graceful and neat, something that does not accentualize a woman's feminity, but also is within the lines of being graceful and neat.

But muslim women do dress up nicely and attractively when they have social gatherings comprising of women only, or gatherings within their own family, hence these pictures probably target that aspect rather than the covering when going outside etc. :)

Sorry for intruding but I must ask WHY?
I do this out of frustration in that being a DIR I can not use an opinion but given its influence on world opinion I must ask why?
I see nothing to be ashamed of. Is there something I am missing that means women are some how delinquent if they do not wear "the veil"?
Women occupy half the population of the earth, should the "other" half fully dictate what is acceptable for the "female" half of people that exist in this world.
To me what one wears is the chosen of that person and therefore inviolate, however if it is the constraint of a society, then it should be examined with an extreme analysis of why.

Cheers

Well, I don't see objection to most of the clothes (apart from the over make-up). Maybe what I am trying to convey that Muslim women have a large variety of options for their clothes and this is how many of them wear. As I said, the Muslim woman can be chic/stylish and modest and the same time. :)

I think the clothing is beautiful!

A friend of mine from high school travels back and forth to Oman as a fashion designer and pretty much focus entirely on Muslim women's dress.
