Thou shalt not kill/murder...
...shall be stoned to death and their blood shall be upon them

What is a Frubal?
For me, one of the biggest problems with the Bible is the omniscience and omnipotence of God in some parts of the Bible, and then suddenly revoking those powers.Example:before the flood(also at Sodom/Gemorrah I believe) it states that God came down to see if things were really as bad as they were reported to be. Seems God is often being caught unawares, and is frequently surprised and then horribly angered by us humans. Why this should be,when he knows we're going to do it beforehand, always seemed strange to me.
Just curious.

Fill us all in, Oh great Master Jay, King of snide remarks whilst providing no actual information.

I think you two are reading Jay wrong here. I am sure he was insisting that instead of worrying about frubals, why not find out what makes it a contradiction, and investigate whether or not it is actually a contradiction. Jay is not one to simply presume, assume, God gets to break all the rules.Oh no! You can't actually expect him to do that! Why, that would disturb his whole "Ch'i"
I suppose he has issue with my post because he thinks along the lines of "Thou shalt not kill unless god says it's okie dokie to kill certain people...then it's all good" because god can just make up and change the rules all he wants along the way, 'cuz he's god and he's got it like that. Like one child teaching another how to play a game and keeps changing the rules so they can win. "Oh no, you can't play that card unless it's on a Saturday after 3pm...now you have to play this card because it's Tuesday and it's raining. Yeah, that's right...see...now I win!"

So, I agree. You made the thread Dustin, do you actually have an interest in these contradictions, enough to research the validity of the claim Draka made, to see if it holds water? Or were you just interested in surface opinion about contradictions?
A mouth full but I think that is what Jay meant after reading enough of his posts. If I am wrong, so be it
Murder is unlawful killing. Not all killing is unlawful, therefore not all killing is murder. No, I don't have an interest in these contradictions beyond the surface opinion; I'm not going to research the validity of contradiction - if I was, the OP would have been worded vastly differently. I'm not interested in rereading the Bible to find out how invalid the contradiction may be. If you have proof that it is not a contradiction, then simply provide the evidence that suggests otherwise; if not, than don't comment.
