Yes, "favorite war" isn't a good way to put it.
However, If for work or school, you had to watch a 20 hour series of documentaries about one war in History, what would it be?
I'd choose World war 1 because I like the footage on trench warfare, no man's land, the look of their planes, tanks, uniforms, weapons, and film that had just barely come into existence (and their use of gas and gas masks).
The great war is also interesting to study because it doesn't even make sense to me why such a bloodbath even took place. All the reasons for that "great war" seem quite nonsensical. Also, it's a war where I cannot determine who the "good guys" and the "bad guys" were. So, I find it more interesting than other wars.
