As a practising Christian, I do not regard Our Lord Jesus as having been merely a 'prophet'. For that reason I omit Him from my reasoning here.
I am partial to Elisha, the disciple of Elijah. Why? He is characterised in the Bible by his compassion, gentleness and forgiveness (with the notable exception of the admittedly disturbing 'Bears and the Bad Boys of Bethel' episode (which sounds like a gay porno the way I've phrased it, lol ), when a bunch of offensive young dudes called Elisha baldy and got mauled by bears, for some inexplicable reason):
Compassion for the Widows
2 Kings 4:1-7
Compassion for the Childless
2 Kings 4:8-23
Compassion for the Apparently Incurable
2 Kings 5:1-19
Confronting the Greedy
2 Kings 5:19-27
Compassion for the Blind
2 Kings 6:1-23
Compassion for the Hungry
2 Kings 6:24-7
He even extended this compassion to his enemies....
Elisha Cares About His Enemies
(2 Kings 6:8-23)
2 Kings 6:21
Now when the king of Israel saw them, he said to Elisha, “My father, shall I kill them? Shall I kill them?”
2 Kings 6:22
And he answered, “You shall not kill them. Would you kill those whom you have taken captive with your sword and your bow? Set food and water before them, that they may eat and drink and go to their master.”
...So if you happen to be a widow, orphan, incurably ill, blind, poor, hungry or an enemy out to kill him then the Prophet Elisha would have shown you the utmost compassion...just don't call him "baldy" or else

23Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, young lads came out from the city and mocked him and said to him, "Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!" 24When he looked behind him and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD. Then two female bears came out of the woods and tore up forty-two lads of their number
I can only assume he must have been terribly sensitive about his bald patch....But I still admire him, as described, for everything else - bear-beating of young men aside.23Then he went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, young lads came out from the city and mocked him and said to him, "Go up, you baldhead; go up, you baldhead!" 24When he looked behind him and saw them, he cursed them in the name of the LORD.
