Will masturbation give me a oneway ticket to hell?

Going blind? Hairy hands? I severely doubt any problems are caused by masturbation.
PM me if you REALLY wish to know.

Don't ask me. I didn't write the Bible, lol. I was just stating possibly why God would see it as wrong.

I wasn't attacking you in any way man.

And also,at times, it is a sin of "lust". (If you are wan er playing over someone specific, and have sexual thoughts on that person)
thought is what its all about with the mind controllers, and not even a thought is spent if the mind is being controlled.
noone is going to fanticise about their wife while masterbating but before you tell that to your wife you should give it another thought.

I would beg to differ. You ever been away on a business trip for a week or two? It's much cheaper than picking up a whore.

Majik just made more sense then Ker. I'm also amazed Majik understood what Ker was saying.

Yes, ker krypter is hard to understand.. his writing is not properly punctuated and his arguements aren't laid out in a manner for people to be able to grasp.. but im sure what hes saying is profound.. :) heh..

" you cant control your mind when your head is ready to explode"

if you dont masterbate because youve been told not to then your mind must be controlled

" if you dont masterbate because youve been told not to then your mind must be controlled"

Or because they believe something differently than you do... Some people practice a thing called 'self control.'

I think that Ker Krypter's arguement is that if you are taught , then it isn't " self " control , but conditioned control .

But then , I could be mistaken ? I assume that is what he is getting at though . And the above opinions may or may not be those of this poster ... ;)

Allthough I strongly feel that its OK because animals do it doesn't justify something, I see no wrong in masturbation, especially if you have STDs. If you feel the urge to masturbate, it could just be that your root chakra is overactive, and isn't being counteracted by the other ones. But since all of your body parts require attention once in a while, I don't see how masturbation could be wrong.

I have to strongly agree with Jensa. Self control is a sligh different from just "not wan..er fulfilling because someone told them not to."

Well I know that when I do not masturbate I tend to feel more pressure on my prostate which I can imagine will lead to some kind of not-healthy lifestyle for my future. So given that I will probably continue masturbating for years to come (I so could have used a pun right there...but I'll keep it clean for this forum). I will probably do so even after and while married. If it is wrong it is a wrong that is about as common as lying--we know it's wrong but we will forever continue to do it.

I think the biggest thing that people could argue is to the extent that a person masturbates. Not asking the question "How often?" but "What's going through your mind while you are doing this?" In that case we would have to ask that same question when it came down to sex and any kind of sexual acts...and the argument goes on.

Although I would like to know how it is that you manage to crap in your pants when you don't get a chance to. Perhaps (if you're male) your prostate swells up and forces crap out of you rectum?

Okay for you I'm gonna but myself on a limb here and probably get kicked out of every "christian" mind set or allies that I might bhave

Biblicaly speaking their is nothing wrong with Masturbation or watching Porno. Now it is bad to lust for women, however there is one big thing that stands in the way; marriage. If your not married it is allowed, however once you make those wedding vows you are locked togther.

I take this position because of what scripture says. Jesus never gets close to telling us about this topic. Except in one oocasion where he says "Anyone who looks lustful at another woman commits adultary." How can you commit adultary if your not married? Oh course this is my opinion and I could be wrong but it seems likely.

i see nothing wrong with masturbation. feels good, lets one let off some steam, gives one something to do for a while.

since when did fiddling with one's self become a ground for religious argument?

More so than "pooping" self when not doing it.

I believe he was asking, indirectly, if it was a sin towards God to masturbate.

ah. what i meant was that as masturbation hurts no one and results in pleasure i don't see anything intristically wrong with it. what various peoples believe God intends for us concerning the use and treatment of our bodies is rather subjective. and as SOGFPP pointed out, tends to inquire as to how our relationships with our bodies differ from those of animals' based on what God expects from us as humans in a relationship with Him. i don't see why God would be bothered by masturbation- that's my view.

I'm certainly not going to kick you out of my mind for your personal views - even though I still have Christian 'bits' in me.

I would disagree with you though, because, like every thing else in the world, exposure to too much of anything lowers our way of reacting to it in the future - at worst, it can even make us become something we would never have thought of being in the past.

The police here are permanently on the prowl for paedophiles - computers are taken away, and the drives 'trawled' through to see if there is any incriminating evidence.

I think there is an inherent danger (For the police) in that. Not long ago, there was a murder of a young girl here in England - I can't think of her name, and it is unimportant for the purposes. The policeman in charge of befriending and comforting the family of the girl who was sexually abused was later found to have paedophelic material on his computer. Can you imagine how that must have made the girl's family feel like?

The point I am trying to make is that too much of anything devalues the enjoyment of it in the future - at best. Worst case scenario is that too much exposure renders us desensatized, and therefore open to finding 'something better'.

There is no way that I am going to sit here and say that I don't masturbate, or that I haven't seen pornography;however, given the chance to re-live my life knowing what I now know, I thinkl I would avoid both. But that is only my viewpoint.:)
