LOL.....the idea didn't originate on its own.....the concept is there in the Bible.....a superhero "with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men"....and his arch enemy the evil villain. In the end the superhero wins and the villain is defeated. Its the classic theme behind every comic or movie about any superhero, but sadly the violence portrayed has become increasingly graphic as people become immune to its shock value. Even young children these days play computer games with more gore than an actual war.

FYI....Apparently Jesus invented marketing too.....his teaching techniques were so successful that psychologists analyzed his methods and actually copied them. Whodathunk?

LOL, no. The bible didn't originate on it's own, either. Everything about it is derivative, borrowed from and
influenced by the stories and cultures long before it. So again, no, Christianity doesn't deserve credit for the concept of heroes vs. villains.

“Was” Jewish? When do he stop being a Jew? And if he still is a Jew, isn’t he obligated to still keep Torah?

Jesus stopped being a Jew when he died. His humanity was Jewish, but as you know, we believe that his resurrection was not in mortal flesh, and he returned to his Father in heaven when his mission was fulfilled.

Not sure that the Torah applies in heaven....but doesn’t it still apply to Jews today?
