Two small points. You do realise that to 'do something in the name of' has absolutely nothing to do with personal names don't you? If I were to bash on your door and say 'open up in the name of the law' would you understand that I were talking about somebody called 'The Law', or would you understand that I was there representing the legal authorities of the land? I'd hope the latter. Coming in the name of the Father, then, is coming representing the Father and it would be irrelevant whether said Father had a name or not.may said:well Jesus thought it was important for us to know Gods name
