Which is supreme practice: jnana or bhakti?

Shantanu, there is no uncertainty for 'bhaktas'. They have surrendered completely to their deity, and they will accept whatever the deity has for them cheerfully. Prapatti. They never think of future.
I am an unusual bhakta then, because I care very much about my future. I want to survive and have a very long life which is why I gave up smoking and only drink alcohol if the occasion demands it. My father was a devote of Sri Krishna and wanted to have a very long life so he could achieve things so he had a pacemaker put into his heart. So I do not know where you got the idea that Prapatti means not caring about the future.

To survive with dignity you need to perform yoga and specific spiritual development in the pursuit of truth and justice.
My cat survives with dignity. I've never seen her in a downward dog pose.
Of course, she is a cat...
