Where Would We Run to? Would You Run?

This is a topic for American Capitalists dealing with the subject of the US election.
I have a question, it is vary possible Trump will get elected, but it is also possible for Socialists like Bernie Sander or Hilary Clinton to get elected. Thing is if Trump get elected people or people who already disagree with Capitalism can just run to Canada or Sweden or a list of other countries, but where would and where could we go if the US becomes Socialist? Also would you move out of the US if that happens? Or would would you stay and accept the new Socialist government? I am curious to see what you guys will say.

No one will turn us socialist in just a few presidential terms.
And it would require that Congress jump on board.

A little tangental, but I'm not sure it's as easy as picking a country and moving there.

What? Me worry?
I doubt if you'll ever see a "Socialist government" in a true Capitalist society, and I don't think you'll ever hear a "capitalist" talk about leaving this country. A true capitalist knows you don't become successful by turning tail and running just because times are tough. Capitalists by nature are opportunistic, and a true Capitalist would believe that, by the second year a Socialist is president, they will make a killing selling T-shirts with a picture of Bernie and the caption "What the Hell was I thinking?".

If I had to face such a situation (a Hindu in India), I will not go anywhere, would not like to go anywhere, have nowhere to go, I will have to wait out the dark episode, resist if I can.

Past experience shows that a vast majority of people do not run.

A democracy envisons that govenments will change from time to time. The more extreme a sitting government, the more likely they will suffer a reverse in fortunes.

Given America's "generosity" at taking in legitimate refugees herself, I can hardly imagine very many countries opening up their arms to American refugee's from socialism or facism, for that matter. I think Canada might start by building a wall!!
