Right. You want me to be labeled as the heretic, huh? Some friend you are.beckysoup61 said:Uh....:cover: I'd rather you do, I don't have a firm grasp on the concept,l but I could go from our scriptures later tonight.
Where do you believe He was, verita? Do you believe He existed before the events described in Genesis took place? Was there a time before the clock started ticking, so to speak? The Bible starts out, "In the beginning..." but that was just "the beginning" of creation with respect to our universe, wasn't it?verita said:Where is God before he created the heavens and earth?

Abraham 3:1-3 said:1 And I, Abraham, had the Urim and Thummim, which the Lord my God had given unto me, in Ur of the Chaldees;
2 And I saw the stars, that they were very great, and that one of them was nearest unto the throne of God; and there were many great ones which were near unto it;
3 And the Lord said unto me: These are the governing ones; and the name of the great one is Kolob, because it is near unto me, for I am the Lord thy God: I have set this one to govern all those which belong to the same order as that upon which thou standest.
The book of Genesis mentioned only the time of creation of the heavens and the earth. God the Father existed before the creation and he was together with his son who is our Lord Jesus Christ. I know the answer but I will hold on at the moment to give others a chance to reply this thread. If you know someone who teaches the Word of God in the bible ask them the same question. They might also know the answer. I did not find it by myself. I learned it from our Eldest Brother who teaches the true Gospel of God that is written in the bible.Katzpur said:Where do you believe He was, verita? Always got to get your two cents worth in, huh, logician? Guess how much your opinion on God is worth to those of us who believe in Him? Hint: Two cents would be overstating it by about two cents.logician said:There is no god, the multiverse has always existed, thus no "creation" is needed.

Where is God before he created the heavens and earth?
