What proof would you want

False dichotomy. The difference isn't there.

Before everything, there was nothing, and the nothing was both spirit and substance. No division. The division is only in your mind.

The choice comes from a false dilemma, a constructed difference where none exists.

Both first, with modified continuance.

A bastardized continuation which is both terminal and eternal.

I am not confused between an item of life and an item dead.

And the updated version is that the universe is more fine tuned for black holes and dark matter than human or biological life. There are more galaxies in the universe than there has been human beings.

Also, the subterraneal microbes... there are billions if not trillions times more than humans.

And which is greater?....you having spirit?
or the others by volume or numbers?

Yeah. Which is greater? Volume, numbers, quality, power, flavor? Which one is greater? A supernova or a great fiction book?

Both are dead.
One larger, one smaller.
One of great energy, the other moves your thought and feeling.

So if it moves your mind and heart.....that would be the greater item.

A supernova would most definitely disintegrate your biological heart and physical mind, in a heartbeat. A book moves both your though, feeling, and metaphorical heart. Both have great energy. Are your words dead right now as you write? Are you saying that you only talk dead stuff?

As if the previous two don't know they are alive.
and when the ability to continue as we are now disappears....
won't the spirit fail as well?

I believe the spirit CAN die.
Lack of faith will kill it for sure.
No foundation.

But even if you succeed in standing from your flesh....
That doesn't mean heaven will allow continuance.

Angles carry swords....it seems.
They have been displayed with sword for a long time.
Swords sever the living from the dead.

Dead stuff?....maybe you are.

We'll see for sure ....later on.

That's not an answer.

So anyone alive has "spirit"?

Does "spirit" just mean "metabolism"?

You can be alive in body.....(I haven't seen a zombie. How about you?)
You can be alive in spirit....I believe it.
and your next post confirms....you ARE there.

Again: what do you mean by "spirit"? What is it?

That part of you that will respond to this post.
Or are you a soulless program?

That could be...really.
If you can't see beyond this hour than maybe you really ARE a zombie.

And the dead will bury the dead.
So I've heard.

What's a "soul"? Trading one vague term for another doesn't really help you be understood.

If "spirit" is so obvious, why can't you tell us what it is?

That part of you that might survive your last breath.

What?....can't believe in reason?...or even a possibility?

7billion people and no one will survive the last breath?
Not one chance?

Then you have no soul.
And the repeated question is indication you don't.

And how shall I say to you what you don't have?

Sure, nobody survives their last breath - just as nobody is alive before their conception.

What is the difference? Why is it so easy for you to accept that life has a beginning - but not that it has an end?

Why would we have a soul after death, when we don't have one before life?
