What exactly is pantheism?

Does anyone have a good working definition of the word 'pantheism'?

Pantheism is a doctrine in which the divine is viewed as immanent, pervading all existence, as opposed to transcendent as a separate entity.

The fundamental belief of pantheism identifies the physical existence of God, The concept God being pervasive in the universe would more like panentheism.

Pantheism would not involve a supreme being. Closing the loop? With the physical existence being God there is no loop to close.
