Was she an Egyptian serving Sarah, as described in the Genesis account?

Hagar was a wife of the prophet Ibraaheem (peace be upon him) and the mother of Ishmael (peace be upon him). She was also the slave of Ibraaheem's wife Sarah who suggested he marry Hagar due to her thinking she herself was sterile. It is said Hagar was Egyptian.

However, in Islam there is no story, as in the Bible, about animosity between the two women nor that Sarah had driven Hagar away.

Thank you. I was speaking some time ago to a Muslim man, talking about the Bible, and he did tell me that Ishmael is considered in Islam the first born to Abraham. I guess because the son born to Hagar was Abraham's first born. Interesting, thank you.
