I understand some Muslims dislike Jews since Israel took over the lands shared with Palestinians.
That is today but what happened 1400 years ago?
I was watching a video of a discussion taking place in Speakers Corner about a certain hadith.
I stopped the video to read the Hadith and all of a sudden my head started spinning.
What? What is this? Why?
Here is the Hadith:
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
"The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews."
Reference : Sahih Muslim 2922
In-book reference : Book 54, Hadith 103
USC-MSA web (English) reference : Book 41, Hadith 6985
Ok, I know, I'm gonna be asked where is the context?
I keep googling and can't find any context.
It has nothing to do with war.
It has nothing to do with being attacked.
It is not a self-defense reaction.
It is about the last Hour.
I figure you Muslims would be able to save me some time and explain it to me.
I know Quran verses are explained on Tafsirs but what about Hadith?
Who does explain Hadith?
Is there a verse in the Quran where Allah ordered Muslims to kill the Jews before the Last Hour?
