Wayne Rogers passes away

The actor who played 'Trapper' John Macintyre in M*A*S*H has passed away aged 82.

He was great in that show - he complimented Alan Alda really well.

Apparently he became pretty right-wing & obnoxious later on in life but I don't know anything about that.

I'll honour the man who made me laugh.

Rest in peace, good sir.

At first I thought it was about the son of John Wayne & Mister Rogers.

I heard about it last night. "Trapper" John Xavier Macintyre. A great fictional man and a great fictional doctor. As you say, hats off to a character who made me smile.
