[Vaishnava Topic] Where is the abode of Lord Hari?

kalyan

Aspiring Sri VaishNava
First thing one has to decide is Do I want to step into the imaginary stories of gaudiya or would I be basing my opinion on the supreme authority VEDAM (No offense to anyone nitai or like) ... Goloka is not an eternal abode and is imaginary and its ok to think that such a place exists because of KrushNa prema but that does not make them truth......May be Krushna allots them to the ones who want to be there but this is absent in vedam.........

From vedam, Sri Vaikuntam or Paramapadam is the abode of Maha VishNu...

Edited 2 subtract the rahasyams-------

What have they said?

When Advaitin scholars (starting from Shankara) mention Vaikunta (Gita bhashya, etc.,) or Kailasa - it is to illustrate Moksha as final and irreversible. They are not interpreted as real and permanent places where liberated souls reside.

The idea of a "liberated soul" is an oxymoron in the Advaita doctrine and hence, there is no question of it entering some other realm such as Vaikunta.

when Shankara mentions Vaikunta in his commentaries, it mentions the vAikunta from vedas where the mukta jIvas go after ridding the karma bandham from the grace of Srimannaryana and the vaishNava acharyas and which is eternal. It would be oxymoron of you to think that he mentions another fantasy. Stop twisting words of the acharyas. After brahma gets reflected in maya, advaita is just visista advaita with jIvas, prakriti and paramaatma/Iswara ......Paramaarthika is a state no one can talk
