Typhonian Ink and the Rituals of the 7 Faces of Darkness

Is it imperative to make or acquire Typhonian Ink for the rites in the rituals in the 7 Faces of Darkness? I do like them, and I am aiming for some precision in my rites but I only have red ink from older LHP shops (like Bat's Blood or Dragon's Blood ink)

The second question about the rites are some of the requirements for the rites, like laying and wrapping up like a Mummy with black Ivy on your head before you recite the Blessing from Set for Luck. Is some of this stuff added for the effect of the ritual or are they an imperative for the workings to manifest?

According to your own genius, construct the Rites to suit your needs with what you are able to acquire. All Setian rubrics are outlines only. Would the Rites work better with appropriate ingredients? try it and find out ;)
