Trump's "Godly Masculinity"

The main reason Trump paid off the hooker was because he was married to Melania. The election was secondary imo
That is not what is coming out at the trial from David Pecker.

Once he embarked on his presidential campaign, however, Trump mentioned his family less frequently. The concern was no longer "what his family would say," Pecker testified, "but the impact it would have upon the election."
After the election, Pecker continued, Trump expressed his gratefulness to him for hiding the stories. "How's our girl doing?" he once asked, referring to McDougal, a Playboy model who had been paid to keep quiet about her alleged tryst with Trump.
When prosecutor Joshua Steinglass asked Pecker why Trump was grateful to him for hiding the affairs, Pecker paused momentarily as Trump glared at him from across the courtroom. Then he responded that Trump believed "the stories would be very embarrassing."

I disagree. In my opinion Trump didn't worry much about what Melania thought.

But the question is, was the election a "substantial" reason for paying the money. That is what the jury will have to decide.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I think personally that Trump is all about getting re elected or whatever (and I use that term loosely) and that he doesn't care one way or the other about how Melania feels about it.

Christians continue to amaze me.
Excerpted...
At least, that was my takeaway from a recent Politico interview with Samuel L. Perry, a sociologist of religion and author of the book Addicted to Lust: Pornography in the Lives of Conservative Protestants. He contends that many evangelicals see Trump as a “representative of a kind of masculinity that is so masculine that his sexual appetites cannot be contained. That’s almost a good sign,” Parry says.

“In other words,” Perry continues, “[Trump is] not Mike Pence—a kind of asexual, Ned Flanders kind of Christian that is effete and ineffective. No, Trump is power personified. He is a warrior. And with that comes all of the temptations of being a warrior.”

When I think attractive masculinity, Trump isn't even the last thing to pop into my mind. Trump is more like failed unattractive masculinity.

The basic rule of thumb, as demonstrated by the actions of the elite, is this: If you are a toady for the ruling class, all of your sins will be overlooked/ignored/forgiven. If you are considered against the ruling class, your sins will be magnified and intensified in the media. There's a reason why Reagan and Clinton were considered "Teflon Presidents."
That's an interesting theory...
I mean...if by ruling class you mean the élites that have always imposed the agenda on the White House.
After all, Trump is the outsider to politics. The one who doesn't let anyone command him.
