Trump Doesn't Recognize That We Exist?

I just saw a clip of Trump talking about our diversity, & how we all believe in the creator.
All of us?
I wonder about his opinion of us...if he believes we exist?
Anyone know?

I suspect that what people believe about god or not is about as relevant to Trump as the most recent winner of the Cricket World Cup. Perhaps, less so.

The same thing was said by the several ministers who spoke at the inauguration, and it's a typical thing that politicians say, rooted in Monotheistic worldview of Christianity and Judaism. As an afterthought, they MAY acknowledge other religions--but almost never will a politician or minister acknowledge the existence of atheists...

Atheists might have a tougher time of things, as Christians gain more power.

Goes for any religion also not claiming to be Christian.

When Trump was elected, I claimed that one of the good things with his ascendancy was the lack of religious pandering in the general election. Trump didn't promise Christians a damn thing. Yet here we are. . . He's handing out support like candy.

Let me add another bad prediction of things I thought would happen this year but didn't.

Number #487.

Well, to be honest, I don't believe you exist...so...I can't really answer your question since that would just be plain crazy....because I'd just be talking to myself...wait...damn....I am talking to myself again

A talking bear tells a cartoon janitor he doesn't exist.
What would Trump do if he saw this?

I don't know what rock you were living under during the campaign, but he certainly did.
Even RF Christians like @BilliardsBall and many others thought that he had been born again or something.
It was one of Trumps most striking victories. He convinced the conservative Christian voters that he had found Jesus.

You exist as the enemy of Christian America. But, don't worry, the left will stick up for you even if you don't want us to.

That might be why I am not a leftist. I believe more in personal responsibility. Rev voted for Trump and I don't intend to let him forget it.

Apparently I was under a rock. I'm not sure it was all that clear prior to the election.

I heard the rationalizations. . . They liked Pence and they liked Trump's horrible rhetoric during the third debate regarding the Supreme Court's impact on women's health. . . And they were willing to excuse his obvious moral problems to get that.

But seriously, this revoking of the Johnson Amendment is out of left field, and clearly not a campaign promise. . . He's giving them what he promised, why add so much more than he promised?

What can I say? I was wrong. . . Again.

Rev voted for Trump and I don't intend to let him forget it.
Tom

In Rev's defense, he was not a fan of Clinton's aggressive stance and interventionist positions . . . Drone strikes, arming bad people, and continuing conflicts.

I myself held my nose when I voted for her. It was my biggest criticism of Obama and Clinton. Trump could have been a peacemonger for al we knew. Maybe he still will be in the end. . .

I would say asking Jerry Falwell, Jr. to head Education prior to asking Betsy De Vos, and having the most fundamentalist VP in history serve with him, are some indicators.

As are his wealth and womanizing, hypocrisy and saber rattling, gambling casinos and gilded lifestyle and ego.

No doubt in my mind. Trump is a better Christian than Creflo Dollar.

Or some indicators that he knew he didn't have a ticket with the Democratic platform, and the religious right hated him, so his choices are tailored to try and bring back that religious right support and voting power.

I am pretty sure Donald Trump has no idea what a Setian is. I might like Mr. Trump, but that doesn't mean I don't think he is misguided and ignorant in some of his views, which to me, clearly, he is.
