Well, if I remember correctly, one of the signs of the antichrist or beast or whatever they call it is that he will rebuild the Temple.
This would cause mass panic in America and probably result in Israel losing their lobbying power in our government.
Although, judging by the godzilla comment, this thread is probably a joke...
