"The Shack"

At the time I asked the question, I had not read the book. (The Shack. by William P. Young). As I write this I have only 30 pages left to read. I have been deeply moved by its message, its boldness and its thought provoking concepts. It paints a perception of Jesus and life that resonates within me.

Ohhhh no.... here we go.... lol.

Sorry. :D

I guess if the book discussion stays confined to it's own thread/s....
(there's already a Shack thread on the forum somewhere)
I won't have to go running out of the forum screaming....

I did not like the book,
(as an out of church christian)
nor did I like the constant ad nauseum references to it
in my old out of church forum,
nor did I like the whole "buy 50 copies & hand 'em out mentality",
that accompanied the book.

I'm sure you'll get many positive posts though.
So don't trouble yourself over mine.
I had to write this post for the sake of my own sanity.

Thanks for the info ... I did not look deep enough for a thread - my error.
Hey, that you did not like the book is a-okay ... it is, to say the least, controversial.
I appreciate you making the effort to preserve your sanity ... :)
