if brahman is pure consciousness then what is unconsciousnessYou probably should define what you mean by dualism. AFAIK, in Abrahamic religions, dualism means God vs. the devil. In Hinduism, it is the belief that God and the soul are two different entities, in opposition to advaita or atman = Brahman.
dualism is reflected in every aspect of creation. It does not arise. It is infinite.does dualism arise from the lack of knowledge?
this is untrue. the absolute doesn't have an external contrast to itself, so dualism only exists as the illusion of form in contrast to another form, or the unformed.dualism is reflected in every aspect of creation. It does not arise. It is.
Au contraire, mon frerethis is untrue.
Genesis 1:2the absolute doesn't have an external contrast to itself,
no the spirit of god is still god and the waters are still god. the bible states that nothing exists apart from god. there is no othernessAu contraire, mon frere
Genesis 1:2
The spirit of God was over the surface of the water. Dualism.
But from a scientific perspective, so much technology and medicine is based on polarities. Without polarity, your computer simply wouldn't work. Not to mention intermolecular forces that render your desk or table rigid. The force of friction that allows one to walk is a form of dualism. Biochemical reactions that render food into energy requires osmosis. It all has a polar/dual nature.
It cannot be denied and still be taken seriously.
If that was true then the verse in Genesis would have been written differently.no the spirit of god is still god and the waters are still god. the bible states that nothing exists apart from god. there is no otherness
.
the elohim are derived from el, they are not separate from it. like a corpuscle in the body.If that was true then the verse in Genesis would have been written differently.
For an other example ( pun intended )
Exodus 20:3. Other gods exist according to this verse.
There is otherness inherent both from a biblical perspective, in nature, and in science.
Perhaps let's agree to disagree? The two of us can have dual points of view, right?
Where?does dualism arise from the lack of knowledge?
the absolute is just another link in an infinite chainthe elohim are derived from el, they are not separate from it. like a corpuscle in the body.
the form is the problem. people fixate on the form; which is temporal but matter and consciousness.the absolute is just another link in an infinite chain
the absolute is a form, part of the illusion
